Pastoral Visits If you know of someone who needs a visit from the Minister, please fill in one of the Visitation Request slips to be found on the table in the vestibule of the church and put it in the donations box in the vestibule or hand it to the Minister or any Elder. The information you provide on these slips helps the Minister with visits. Thank you, for your co-operation.
Knitters Alastair and Jean dropped off 200 knitted hats, scarves and other items, as well as 5 blankets, recently, to Blythswood Care in Hillington. Thanks are due to St Margaret's Knitters who handed these in, over the last couple of months. We have received a lovely card from Blythswood Care saying that "It is good to know, as we shiver on chilly days, that life in other countries is a little brighter and warmer because of the knitting that has been donated." Well done, folks.
Alive and Active The magazine of the Scottish Bible Society is available in the vestibule. Please take one on your way out. Church Shop Hours of opening for the shop will be 10am – 12 noon Monday to Friday. For items to be uplifted please phone 832938
Sunday Teas Names are urgently required to take a duty on a Sunday for this very important task. If you can manage please fill in the sheet on the hall windowsill or give your name to either Paula Warren or Penny. Please remember if we do not get names then this service will cease to exist.
Friday Night at St Margaret’s £600 was raised for Church funds from the recent concert given by our wonderful choir under their musical director Allan Smith.
Congregation Elders are now out distributing the Spring magazine and if you do not already have it, it will be with you soon. There will be a further visit from your Elder just before we celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion on Sunday April 30th. The midweek service and Junior Church have benefited greatly from the new clavinova. It has encouraged great singing at both events.
Recipe Packs There are packs of recipes available for you to take away with you today, from the tables in the vestibule. If you didn’t pick up a pack at Tea ’n’ Talk, take one today.
Elders Please remember to return your District envelopes at your earliest convenience. They can be handed to Gilda or posted into the box outside the vestry. Thank you!
