Disappointed! We would like to apologise to the two visitors who, last Sunday were asked to move from the seats they had taken in the hall for the Messy Mission Picnic. We, in St Margaret’s consider ourselves a welcoming church, so last week’s incident was very disappointing! Facebook and St Margaret's Please follow St Margaret’s on Facebook, for news, comment and the latest photos. All comments and contributions welcomed. Keep it alive! Pastoral Visits If you know of someone who needs a visit from the Minister, please fill in one of the Visitation Request slips to be found on the table in the vestibule of the church and put it in the donations box in the vestibule or hand it to the Minister or any Elder. The information you provide on these slips helps the Minister with visits. Thank you, for your co-operation.
Knitters Alastair and Jean dropped off 200 knitted hats, scarves and other items, as well as 5 blankets, recently, to Blythswood Care in Hillington. Thanks are due to St Margaret's Knitters who handed these in, over the last couple of months. We have received a lovely card from Blythswood Care saying that "It is good to know, as we shiver on chilly days, that life in other countries is a little brighter and warmer because of the knitting that has been donated." Well done, folks.
